Gardening

Do you have any other way to learn the surrounding world than finding out the mystery of the most elementary acts of nature? Every child is filled with “how’s and why’s”, when he/she bombards their close ones with questions on how the trees grow, why the flowers blossom and where is the grass taken from? Grown-ups definitely know the answers to all those questions, but sometimes the answers are very “smart” and beyond the kids’ comprehension. During our gardening classes an experienced and attentive teacher will not only popularly explain the nature of these events, but offer an opportunity to observe them. The kids will be able to see how a rosemary or mint bush sprouts out of seed owing to their efforts. Under the tactful supervision of the teacher they will not only be able to nurse a plant, but to make flower compositions, to decorate an ornamental flowerpot.
